RULES for Participation:
1. Work together to complete the reading on your BINGO card with your BINGO TEAM OF 5. If you would like to join a team, open this link. See Ms. Almeida (APHS Teacher Librarian) to receive the Reading BINGO card.
2. The books you choose to read to complete the BINGO Card MUST COME FROM OUR APHS LIBRARY COLLECTION. Use your APHS Student card to borrow the books.
3. Each INDIVIDUAL TEAM MEMBER should read 5 books from the BINGO Card choices. Your team can decide how to divide up the reading (by rows or interest for example). When you finish each book, write one paragraph review as to why you liked or disliked the book. Keep this for submission later. These mini-reviews will be posted on our APHS Library Website and Brightspace Page. Use the tracker to record your reading, reviews and sponsor information.
4. Each INDIVIDUAL TEAM MEMBER should have At least ONE SPONSOR. Every time a reading goal (the box in the BINGO Card) is completed, collect a donation to the HALTON LEARNING FOUNDATION from your sponsor(s). You can have different sponsors for different reading goals completed. If your sponsor needs a tax receipt, they must donate a minimum $10 for the charity to issue one online.
5. When your team has completed the FULL Reading BINGO card, submit it and your mini-reviews to Ms. Almeida (APHS Teacher Librarian). You will earn 5 Community Service Hours for supporting this fundraiser and promoting literacy. Your team will also be entered for a Prize Draw in June.
